Full sun. A spring-blooming wildflower. The green flowers are tiny and fairly unremarkable, but it’s the showy reddish-orange bracts that stand out in Texas fields and roadsides.
Seed should be sown on bare soil in full sun in the fall.
None needed, except to avoid cutting it during its development.
