About This Plant
Sun or partial shade; evergreen, with purple blooms from March through May (and sometimes on into autumn).
Native to well-drained soils, including shallow limestone or sand. Plants in part-shade will survive for years; they may be cut in half to preserve a compact form.
Maintenance
None needed; a mild spring shearing helps maintain a denser form.
