About This Plant
Partial shade; give it some protection from western sun. Evergreen in tropical climates, henna quickly grows to shrub size, but generally freezes to the roots annually in San Antonio, recovering in spring.
The long twining woody branches resemble loosestrife, with glossy reddish-green leaves. White blooms perfume the air during warm weather.
Maintenance
Appreciates mulch and some supplemental summer water.
